Don Wilson

Wilson, Don F., 75, passed away December 13, 2012. He was born April 2, 1937, in Roswell, NM, to Franklin and Beulah (Esslinger) Wilson. He was raised in Pittsburg, KS, and moved to Wichita in 1957. Don was a long-time employee of Domestic Laundry, was co-owner of Peerless Laundry then employed with Tri-State Laundry & Supply. He was an avid fan of all sports and known as Hockey Grandpa to many. Preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, 1 brother, and daughter Ginger Faubus. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Sally, his sister, Mary Sue West; daughters, Tammy (Mike) Norman and Jennifer (Carl) Walterscheid; son-in-law, Bill Faubus; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Watson Funeral Home located at 3201 S. Webb Road.
