Blank, Gale L. 79, retired Veterinary Assistant and Naval Petty Officer, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008. Visitation, Thursday, 12 to 6 p.m., Services, Friday, 1:00 p.m. both in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Rd. Burial with Navy honors to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Walter (Shorty) and Veva Blank, mother, Bessie Hodges. Survived by his wife Norma, Sons, Michael (Susie) Blank of Newton, Chad (Deb) Blank of Augusta, Daughter, Kathryn (Lloyd) Mullins of Augusta, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Memorials to American Heart Association.
