Rhodes, Howard D., age 74, ret. BeechCraft scheduler for 37 years and Sheriff Reserves, passed away December 6, 2012. Memorial Services 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb, Wichita. Survived by his loving family, wife, Dorothy, sons, Howard Rhodes, JR, Ryan Rhodes, Aaron Rhodes, daughter, Amanda Rhodes, brother, Alvin Rhodes, sister, Mary Baldwin, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Howard, was born July 14, 1938 to James and Ruby Rhodes in Madison, Kansas. Howard was in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960, and was a member of the Sedgwick County Sheriff Reserves, and retired as Captain. Howard was one of the first Scuba Divers for the Sheriff's Department and also achieved a black belt in Karate.
Howard also was a member of Silva Security for 30 years.
