Michaud, Gerald L., 76, passed away July 18, 2005, peacefully at home. Jerry was born February 16, 1929, in Morganville, Kansas to Leo and Alma. He obtained college and law degrees from Washburn University. Jerry practiced law in Wichita for over 50 years. He earned national acclaim for his pioneering efforts in products liability and medical negligence litigation. His accomplishments included past president of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association and distinguished member of the prestigious Inner Circle of Advocates. He is survived by his wife Shannon; Children: Cheryl Michaud Cordry of Wichita, Patrick J. Michaud and wife Marilyn of Sebring, FL, Aimee Michaud of Tulsa, OK, and Cameron Michaud-Drumright and husband Greg Drumright of Wichita; Grandchildren: Stephanie Pounds, David Cordry and wife Meg, Neil, Aaron and Adam Michaud; Great-Grandchild: Maxim Cordry; and brother Darwin Michaud and wife Vi. A memorial service celebrating Jerry’s life will be held on July 23, 7:00 p.m. at the WSU Baseball Stadium.
