Alta Rea Rather

Rather, Alta (Rea), age 83, ret. seamstress,"My journey on this earth is over, I am with my Father now", passed away November 15, 2011. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, Watson Funeral Home with services scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, Midway Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Edmund, daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Robert Intermill. Survived by her loving family, son, Keith (Shelly) G. Rather, daughter, Teresa (Jerry) Messerly, Pat (Mike) Spencer, all of Wichita, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial with Good Shepherd Hospice.
