Campbell, Walter E., age 93, passed away on August 9, 2011. He was retired from Boeing in management and was a veteran of World War II, USAF and an active Mason. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Inurnment following at White Chapel Cemetery. He was born to Lee and Anna Campbell on August 3, 1918 in Red Rock, Oklahoma. He had two brothers, Robert and Charles, and one sister, Phoebe, who preceded him in death. He married Edith Hartert, who also preceded him in death. They had two children, Mike Campbell, of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, and Cathy Wuu of Wichita. He had four grandchildren, Chris and Patrick Parks, Scott Campbell and Stacy Dressen. He had five great-grandchildren, Zane, Kale, and Otto Parks, and Trent and Taylor Campbell. He married in 1968 and is survived by his wife Nola Clark Campbell. He was a friend and helper to many and will be missed by all. Memorials to Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, 5500 E.
