D’Amato, Orlando “OJ”, age 72, retired Beechcraft structural engineer, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007. The visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM both Tuesday and Wednesday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, with services scheduled at 10:00 AM Thursday, at the East Point Church of Christ, 747 N. 127th Street East, with burial following in the Iuka, Kansas Cemetery at 2:00 PM. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis, sister, Diana D’Amato, of Wichita, nieces, Teresa LaRoque and Jennifer Lewallen, 3 great-nephews, all of California, chosen family, Steve and Cathy Mikus and their children, Matt , Stephen and Brandon, of Andover, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Pascal D’Amato and sister, Marie Lewallen.
