Dina Lorraine Epperly

Epperly, Dina Lorraine (Reneau) “Rainy”, age 55, cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 after a 21 year battle with breast and most recently lung cancer. Visitation will be 10AM until 1PM, Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Watson Funeral Home, 3201 S Webb Road, Wichita, KS, with a reception following at Spears Rest. & Pie Shop, 4323 West Maple, Wichita, KS. She was employed for over 21 years at Strassburg & Co. and previously for The Residence Inn Co. She was a marvelous, adventuresome cook, avid gardener and voracious reader. She doted on her 3 grandkids and if asked for an opinion you better have been ready for it, unless you were one of her children and they never had to ask. She was preceded in death by her father Billie Reneau. She is survived by her husband, Mark; children, Leslie (John) Napolitan of Buckeye, AZ, Dina Williams of Wichita, KS, and Craig White of Topeka, KS; grandchildren, Alana Williams, Cody Gilmer and Madison Napolitan; mother RoseAnn Reneau of Newton, KS; sisters, Cindy Morgan (Dan Stahl) of Newton, KS, Linnette (Gary) Carroll of Derby, KS; Troy (Stephanie) Reneau of Andover, KS and many nieces and nephews and friends forever “The Brownlees”. The family wants to convey a heartfelt thank you to all those who were so caring the last few months, you know who you are. Your many small kindnesses will never be forgotten.
