Goodrum, Melva Rose (Burns)(Meller), age 79, ret. Southwestern Bell Telephone Operator and Speigel Catalog Customer Service Representative, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007. Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home, with burial following in the Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington, KS. She is survived by her daughters, Terri (John) Brownlee, of Wichita, Tammi Goodrum, of Derby, brother, James R. Burns, sisters, Wanda Melton and Ruth Freeman, all of Derby, grandchildren, Ben, Brett (Anais), and Brooke, great-grandchildren, Skyler and Silas, and her loving Yorkie, Precious. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 4218 Southeast Blvd, Wichita, KS 67210.
